Colleen Marie Borden
February 2, 1970 - August 27, 2020 (Gone too soon)
It is with the deepest of sadness that we have to announce the passing of our much loved daughter Colleen. Colleen was born in Sidney B.C. and came with her family to Edmonton where she spent the remainder of her life.
She is survived by Mom and Dad, sister Kim, brother Glen, Diesel, niece Veronica, nephew John, and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins both here and abroad. Colleen was kind, thoughtful, funny and a real pleasure to be around.
A private family internment will be held, no funeral, no service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Edmonton Humane Society.
Rest in peace lovely girl, your little furry friend is safe.
I‘m fortunate to have had Colleen as my friend throughout our young adult years. I’ll never forget how much she made me laugh, and how comfortable I always felt with her. After I left Edmonton we wrote to each other for several years, pre-email. I miss her very much, and I believe she is free and limitless now. My heart goes out to the Borden family, with my deepest respects.

Dear Borden Family, I am so very sorry to read of Colleen’s passing. We worked together for 5 years, she was a joy to be with. Unfortunately, we lost touch in the last year. I adored her sense of humor and we shared endless laughs together. Rest my dear Colleen, you will always have a special place in my heart and I will always remember you fondly. So many wonderful memories of you.
