Donald Ronald Otto
Don passed away peacefully at the age of 87 on February 11, 2026.
He was loved and will be remembered and greatly missed by his children Joanne (Warren) and Stan (Wesdyne), grandsons Ryan (Courtney) and Nolan, and great-granddaughters Abby and Taylor, his brothers Bob and Jim and their families, as well as countless extended family members and friends everywhere.
He was predeceased by his wife Lil, sister Betty, his parents Ron and Fern, and many extended family members, all of whom he cherished.
The family will host a celebration of Don's life in late spring.

Don supported NAIT for many years through volunteering on the apprenticeship board and in the sharing of his extensive knowledge and experience.
So sorry for your loss. We just heard of his passing. Thinking of you.
Don was one of the best, he coached my fastball team in thorncliffe and gave me my first construction job when he owned all seasons framing back in the day.we crossed paths a few times later in life and he was the same down to earth honest man.
