Edna Cozicar
On January 29, 2026 Mrs. Edna Cozicar passed away at the age of 89 years.
Edna was a beloved mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and wife.
Edna is survived by two daughters Dawn and Kim (Roger) both from Edmonton, One sister, Jean Skeich (Kelowna,B.C), One brother Edward Zackaruk (Edmonton). Edna had seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren. Edna also leaves to mourn Aunt Eva Habiak of Edmonton and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
Edna was predeceased by parents Anne Zackaruk and Alex Zackaruk, sister Kathleen McBride, first husband Bill Balan, second husband Gene Cozicar and daughter Cynthia Sarginson.
At Edna's request there will be no funeral services.
Private interment of Edna's ashes will be on April 25, 2026 in the Evergreen Funeral Home and Cemetery.

I am sorry for your loss edna was a sweetie to your family and the people in the lodge.
But shes in a right place.
Edna was the kindness person and a real sweetheart. Every time I would visit my dad at Ottewell she always stopped and said hi. I would help her read the menu and she was always thankful.
We spent alot of time outside and downstairs in basement sitting and chatting.
Last time I saw her, a week before her passing, she introduced me to her daughter and we had a great visit. When I left she took my hand and pulled me down for a kiss on my cheek.
