Gilberto Da Costa

Surrounded by his loving family, Mr. Gilberto Da Costa of Edmonton passed away peacefully on May 19, 2026 at at the age of 62 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Anna; two children: Julia and Jared; two sisters, Luzia and Maria; two brothers, Joao (Maria) and Emanuel (Elizabeth), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joao and Belmira; his brother, Antonio, and two brothers-in-law, Eduardo and Miguel.

Our deepest heart felt sympathies and condolences to the entire family. We are privileged to have been neighbours and friends for the last 20 years. Many vacations together as well as much camping, and events experienced together.
Gil had many talents that he gladly shared with us all. Cooking, mechanics, construction projects, problem solving, commitment to family, as well as just being a good friend. He was taken from us far too soon.
He will be deeply missed. Rest in peace Deer Friend.

I worked with Gil for only one year but the impression he made on me will last a lifetime. He was kind,he was funny and I don’t know if I would’ve made it without him. I have never met anyone like him prior or since and I feel so fortunate to have known him for that short time.Sending love and peace to all of his family that he spoke so highly of. ♥️
