Jackie (Jack), Douglas Pierce
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jack Pierce on July 22, 2026, at the age of 71 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Diane, brother Murray (Penelope) and brother Jerry (Stacey). He will also be dearly missed by his nieces and nephews and many friends.
Jack was a kind and caring person with a great sense of humor. He will always be loved and remembered.
Jack was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Marion Pierce, his brother Terry and sister Linda.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the CapitalCare Gene Zwozdesky Centre at Norwood (Respiratory Unit) for their care and compassion.
As per Jack's wishes, there will be no funeral service.
A Private Celebration of Life will he held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Myasthenia Gravis Society of Canada, in Jack's memory.

So sorry for your loss Diane, Jack was one of a kind, and was always a good team player. We had a lot of camping trips which I remember he was there to change a propane tank and give Lisa a bed to sleep in. There are so many memories from years ago.
