Lawrence Roman Dolynchuk
Born in Mundare, Alberta, the second youngest of 5 boys, Lawrence died Tuesday of lung cancer at the age of 81.
Lawrence was above all a devoted husband, loving father, and doting grandfather. Left to mourn are his wife of 57 years, Margaret; daughter Christine Jugovics (Stella, Sam, and Claire); son Mike and his wife Tisha (Matthew and Dakota); brothers Victor (Emily) and Glen (Leada); many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbours, fellow umpires and ball players, Eagle Rock golfers he marshalled, and the Old Timers Fishing Club.
Please join us in a funeral mass to celebrate Lawrence's life on April 29 at 10:30 a.m. at OLPH Church, 13 Brower Drive, Sherwood Park, with luncheon to follow. Cremation has taken place and a private family ceremony will occur at St. Michael's Cemetery.
Lawrence's family wishes to thank the wonderful staff and volunteers of the Pilgrims Hospice for caring for both Lawrence and his family during his final days. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Mazankowski Institute or the Pilgrims Hospice are gratefully appreciated.
