Leonard (Len) Allan Black
Leonard Allan Black passed away peacefully in his sleep Sept 1, 2021 at the age of 92 years.
Len moved out west with his brother and friends and met the love of his life Patricia.
Dad had a long great life, he was healthy, and had his amazing wife Patricia (Patsy Stephens). They were married for 65 years.
Dad leaves behind his three sons -Robert (Terry), Wil (Darlene), Tom (Tobie) and daughter Teresa.
His four grandchildren Carman, Carl, Clayton and Olivia.
Len will be missed by his brother Rodger (Ruth) Black of Grande Prairie, Ab. and his sister Betty (Martin-pre deceased) Hazenberg of Uxbridge, Ont., many nieces, nephews and family friends.
Len always had a book in his hand, he loved mom, reading, travelling, food, ice cream, sweets and their acreage in Sherwood Park that they built and designed together.
A memorial service will be held in Beaverlodge, Alta. at a later date.
It is sad. After 28 years of being neighbors and working with each other and helping each other an era comes to an end. I cherish the memories. All my best to his wife Pat.
