Lil passed away with her family by her side on October 14, 2025 at the age of 87 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her partner Barry, sons: Doug ( Kathy ), Grant ( Carey ); eight grandchildren: Ryan ( Kate ), Michele ( Matt ), Ashley ( Cody ), Tyler ( Char ), Mathew, Larissa, Jordan ( Taylor ), and Mason ( Hunter ) and four great-grandchildren: Koen, Beau, Autumn, and Briar.

She was predeceased by her husband Arthur Schiewe, son Calvin Schiewe, and her parents Ewald and Wanda Lankoff.

During the last few months the family would like to thank the staff at Devonshire Seniors Community for their support and care.

Interment to follow at St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery.

If friends so desire, memorial donations can be made to St. John's Lutheran Church - Cemetery fund or a charity of one's choice.

  1. We are saddened to hear of Lilly’s passing. She was beautiful inside and out and full of kindness. Our mother and her family fled Ukraine back to Germany in harsh winter conditions with Lilly’s family during WW2 and survived. Praying that God will comfort your hearts as you grieve her loss.

    Sorry for your loss. Knew your mother from church , in my younger years living near church. Grew up and knew family from church events and later in years.
