
Linda Ann L’Hirondelle
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Linda L’Hirondelle, age 67, of Edmonton, Alberta, announce her sudden and unexpected passing on November 4, 2025.
Linda was born in Peace River, Alberta on August 15' 1958 and spent her early years in Little Buffalo and Peace River before moving to Edmonton at the age of 16, where she made her home and raised her family.
Linda will be remembered for her love for her family, her love for music, dancing, cooking, sewing and fashion.
She will be remembered for her wisdom, patience, sharp wit, creativity and wonderful sense of humor. Linda had a deep love for animals and nature, and her nurturing spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Left to mourn Linda are her children Chad L'Hirondelle and Nikita L'Hirondelle, her Grandaughter Rachelle L'Hirondelle, her Câpânak, siblings Danny, Yvonne, Pauline (Allan), Esther (Don), numerous cousins, niece's, nephews and friends.
Linda was predeceased by her mother Charlotte Houle, father Emile L’Hirondelle, sister Monique Chester, brothers John L’Hirondelle and Roger Laboucan, son Kyle L’Hirondelle, nephews Michael L'Hirondelle, Justin L’Hirondelle-Mahoney, Blaine Noskey, and nieces Roxane Noskey, Serina Noskey, Courtney Lamouche and Roxane Lamouche.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and strength that will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
A wake and funeral will be held at Canora community league 10425 152 street on December 21' 2025 starting at 6pm. The funeral will start at 10am on December 22' 2025 with a pipe ceremony. The family asks that no substances be allowed as this is a traditional wake and funeral. There is no dress code for the wake and funeral.
Cremation will follow directly after the funeral, and the family would like to welcome everyone in attendance to join them for refreshments after the service.
