It is with deepest pain and sorrow that the family announces the passing of our beloved son, brother, nephew and grandson, Mattei Pecuh on August 21, 2014 in his 19'th year of life. He will be held forever in the hearts of his parents Marinka and Aleksandar, sister Daria and brother Boris, grandmother Ksenija, as well as uncles, aunties, cousins and friends.

To Mattei’s family. One cannot comprehend the sorrow you must be feeling or the deep loss you’ve endured. My husband Roger and I, together with our son Kyle, would like to extend our deepest, heartfelt condolences to all of you, Mattei’s loved ones.
Kyle and Mattei were schoolmates and friends. Although Roger and I didn’t know Mattei very well, we do remember seeing our son Kyle with the group of boys involved in Music and Soccer and we do remember him from the many pictures Kyle has and the stories he’s shared. I am deeply saddened with the news of Mattei’s passing.
He was a great friend that always knew how to brighten everyone’s day, he was the life of the party, but most of all he was one of the most kind individuals I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Mattei had a huge heart and he alway drew people in with his positivity, humor and kindness. Mattei is loved and respected by so many and will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
I truly will never forget Mattei and his amazing smile and will always miss him.
I send my condolences to the family and will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
I knew Mattei since Junior High, and ever since I met him he was making me laugh. Never was there a dull moment when he was around. My fondest memory of Mattei was back in Junior High when we would meet up for a couple of weeks at lunch, going around making people laugh and seeing how much laughter we could get out of each other. To this day I don’t think I have laughed as hard in my entire life. Those who instill laughter and happiness into others are the greatest gifts to the world. We have lost one of the greats. My deepest condolences.

It was with great sadness that we learned of your loss. While we did not know Mattei well, we remember as being a very kind and polite boy. He is one of the few who included our daughter at joint water polo practices several years ago. We have often mentioned him and remembered him well. You raised a wonderful young man who will always be remembered for his good heart. Our deepest condolences.

We met Mattei, & you both, his supportive and loving parents, at the Cross when Mattei & Marcel were on the same chemo schedule. We were instantly touched by Mattei and saddened that he was dealing with such a difficult battle at such a young age. Mattei has been in our daily prayers since we met him. Now we will pray that your family finds the strength to cope with this unimaginable loss of your dear Son.

Dragi prijatelji,
od jučerašnje potresne vijesti o smrti vašeg dragog sina Matteia u dubokoj smo i nijemoj boli. Pogođeni tugom, izražavamo svoju najdublju i najiskreniju sućut. Lijepo je bilo poznavati malenog Matteia, a u našim će srcima zauvijek imati posebno mjesto. Dragi naš Mattei, s vjerom u vječni život osnažuješ nadu da odlazak nije kraj puta, nego ulazak u svjetlost koja nas sve sjedinjuje. Tiho suosjećamo s cijelom obitelji, prijateljima i bližnjima.

Postovani Sasa i ostali.dio obitelji Pecuh izgubiti dijete je uzas. Moja je baka Leona pokopala njih petero ukljucujuci i posljednje Eugeniju, moju majku i vidjeh ocaj. I ona joj se ubrzo pridruzila. Bol blikedi i sjecanje na lijepo ostaje.
