  1. My condolence to the survivors and friends. I remember Rhonda gave good support and reminders of her concern during my mother, Marge’s illness and passing in 2016. Marge and Rhonda were colleagues and friends from Community Directions / Winnifred Steward School. Later Rhonda would join Marge (and me) to worship the LORD at Highlands United Church. We will miss Rhonda’s musing conversation, laughter and presence. If I remember she would finish with a “I’ll have to let you go, my dear” and that her way of saying as much makes a wee good epitaph.

    • Thank you for your condolences, Geoffrey.

Marge was always a very important part of Mom’s life as were so many others at Highlands United Church over the years; but Marge certainly held a very special place in Mom’s life.

We are, unfortunately, unable to access any of Mom’s contacts so we haven’t been able to connect with many of her friends or former co-workers and clients; and with the current pandemic, we are choosing not to have a service at this time for everyone’s safety.

If anyone wishes to get in touch with the family, I’m sure that the funeral home can pass along any contact information to Mom’s Husband, Kenneth or myself.

      Sincerely,
      Shannon

  2. Condolences to Rhonda’s family and friends. I worked at Community Directions with Rhonda. She was a great mentor to new staff and a lot of fun to work with.
