Robert ‘Bob’ Husereau
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved father, husband, brother, son, and friend, Robert ‘Bob’ Husereau, on March 26th , 2025. Bob was born on September 12th , 1966, and grew up in both Beaumont and Edmonton, Alberta. He is survived by his wife, Kristine; children, Brandon and Natalie; brother, John; parents, Paul (Janette) and JoAnne; as well as many other cousins, uncles, aunts, and friends.
Bob was regarded as one of the most successful and skilled office tower operations managers in Edmonton, garnering numerous awards and accolades for his achievements. He was revered by his team of coworkers, as a colleague from work described: “Bob was the man, he improved and fixed everything possible. He excelled at everything he did. His technical aptitude and ability in his area was one of the strongest the company had ever seen.” No job was too big or complex for Bob.
He was an avid sports fan, following the Toronto Blue Jays, Edmonton Elks, and Edmonton Oilers through thick and thin. He loved playing golf with his friends, but he loved bonding over his hobbies with family the most. He had a passion for singing and loved to sing songs by Kiss, Eagles, and Pink Floyd. Bob loved going scuba diving and always enjoyed going on trips to the Caribbean with his soulmate Kristine; she affectionately referred to him as “Hercules” because of how big and strong he was. Whenever he could, Bob loved going to the gym; he would often say that “physical exercise is the best drug”, and he taught his daughter and son the benefits of leading a healthy life.
Bob was an amazing role model and mentor. He was looked up to by many and could unify any group through his amazing sense of humour. He brought people together, no matter who they were or where they were from, and for these reasons and many more, he will forever be missed.

So many great memories of a great friend and teammate! His laughter always filled the room and when in need he was always there. While I hadn’t spent much time with him over the past few years, we did talk on the phone and he was so proud of his children and wanted the best for them in their lifetime! Always thinking of others as he was a true “Tower Of Power!”.
While you may be gone my friend — You will NEVER be forgotten as our memories will last forever!
Rest In Peace!
Monstor
Thank you so much Monstor – XOXO
Bob really was a light. I didn’t see him often, but when I did, I was greeted with kindness and warmth and always a good laugh. He was such a huge part of our industry and his respect for the women in our field was unmatched. He believed in respecting everyone and it showed in how respected he was. Bob will be greatly missed.
Thank you so much
Bob was one of a kind. I enjoyed working with him at Canderel. He was kind, funny, able to fix anything and had a knack for trivia. I miss being part of the podcast with him and Adam.
Until we meet again my friend.

Thankyou Joan aka Mrs Goudreau. Thankyou so much for the card you left us and for you and Landon being there. It really warmed the hearts of Mom and I to see you two. My mom would probably love a random call from you in the next couple weeks(after 2pm lol)to “check in” Thanks again.
Bob was one of the kindest men I ever had the pleasure of working with but above all Bob was an amazing friend and mentor, when I needed an Operation Manager I knew hands down Bobby was my guy. Bob always knew how to calm a situation and I always knew if he was handling a problem at a building it was in good hands. Bob made me laugh on a daily basis and I will forever miss his big laugh and how he could light up a room. He had so much passion for his job but his number one accomplishment in life was his family and he had so much love and pride for all of you. My deepest condolences go out to his wife Kristine daughter Natalie and Son Brandon.
Thank you so much Kim. XOXO

I first met Bob 24 years ago when Bob,Jose and myself had the pleasure and stress of running Telus Plaza North and then he was my operations manager at Humford/Canderel. He was always more of friend then a coworker/manager. When we did get together it was always a lively , humourous conversation about sports music and what ever else came up. My condolences. Rest in peace buddy.
Thank you for your kind words, he always talked about those days and it brought a big smile on his face.
Bob was simply the best… He lit up a room that’s already lit. Best comic timing. Best laugh. Best friend to listen to a issue and then give me a tissue. Best superfan! Best memories.
I’ll miss you brother!
From my family to your family,
Much Love and Condolences.
Jay

Kristine and family, It truly saddened my heart when I heard that Bob has left us. Deepest condolences and our prayers are with you all.
Bob was my introduction to a culture that can be described as a brotherhood.
The memories and experiences with Bob will remain with me until the end.
Bob’s legacy is still strong and will be for a long time.
Even though our journey together changed I still think often of those times Bob and I would chat about anything and everything.
Sharing some secrets, passions and emotions, to get us through the day, I have missed those.
May he rest in peace and your family have some solice that God had a different plan for Bob.

Thank you for your kind words.
Bob was one of those rare people who radiated kindness, warmth, and boundless energy. Wherever he went, he brought a spark of joy and excitement that lifted everyone around him. He had the most captivating stories—tales of his travels, his dreams, and the hobbies he loved so much.
Whenever Bob talked about the things that brought him happiness, his deep love for his wife and family always shone through. He often spoke about his dream of retiring and traveling the coast with his wife, scuba diving, and finding ways to help others along the journey.
Bob had a way of leaving every place brighter than he found it. His presence was a gift, and the positive mark he left behind will never be forgotten.
Thank you so much for your kind words, during this difficult time

Dear Husereau Family,
I had the pleasure of working with Bob over the last 25 years. Although I was unable to attend the service, I wanted to express my deepest sympathy. Bob was a larger-than-life personality and will truly be missed heartfelt condolences.
Thank you for kind words during this sorrowful time in our lives.
I was a classmate of John, and Bob was in my sister’s class. I was so sorry to hear about his passing – my heart goes out to his family during this difficult time. Bob will always have a special place in my heart. My dad used to say Bob could smell our BBQ from a mile away, and we always loved having him over. He was thoughtful, sweet and easy to be around. After those BBQs Bob and I would often hang out or head off to catch a movie – he was my movie buddy. He was truly a genuine, kind hearted guy, alway willing to help. John , I’m so sorry for your loss. Bob will be deeply missed, and I will always cherish the great memories we shared.
Bob always had a way of making me laugh and brought such positive vibes. We would chat about everything from personal problems to things like music and how much he loved cranking classic rock on his insane sound system especially Dark Side of the Moon, or Bob getting baby Brandon into cars early on by watching Fast and the Furious together while Brandon still drank his milk. And of course, the family vacations, Bob loved sharing those stories and you could tell how much his family meant to him.
To me, Bob was more than just a colleague, he was a mentor, a role model and a friend. So much of what I know in operations came from him, and I honestly wouldn’t be where I am today without his guidance. His impact on my life, both professionally and personally, is something I’ll always carry with me.
“The song has ended, but the melody lingers on…”
Thank you so much for sharing your story with us. Truly appreciative during this sorrowful time in our lives.
