Ruby Elnora Scharff
With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Ruby Elnora Scharff on March 27, 2026, at the age of 102. She was born on October 20, 1923, in Kevisville, Alberta, and lived a long life marked by devotion to family, quiet strength, and enduring love.
Ruby is lovingly remembered by her sons and their families. She leaves behind her son Allen Scharff, his wife Debra, and cherished grandchildren Jared and Jorja, who brought her great pride and joy. She is also survived by her son Lyle McKain, his wife June, and their extended family, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
Ruby was predeceased by her brothers Mark, Wes, and Harry, and her sisters Zita, Goldie, and Delores, with whom she now reunites.
Throughout her life, Ruby exemplified resilience, kindness, and grace. She was a steady presence to those around her and leaves a legacy defined by family bonds, shared memories, and the generations she helped shape.
Ruby’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her life was a gentle gift, and her love will echo through generations.
