Sharon Goudreau July 24, 1947 to August 28, 2025

With profound sadness and deep love we announced the passing of Sharon Goudreau on August 28, 2025 at the age of 78.

Sharon was a lifelong resident of Edmonton Alberta where she lived in her cherished home until 2022 before moving to Millwood Shepherd's care. Born on July 24, 1947 Sharon lived a full life of creativity adventure and fierce devotion to her family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Dennis Goudreau (2016) his children Derrik and Halina and there kids Tyler , Charissa and Licia her parents Tilly Bootsman and FrankBootsman, and is survived by her brother Ken Bootsman his wife Marie and children David and Julianna.

She was a devoted mother to Tim Mack and James Mack and a proud grandmother to Amanda, Daniel, Baeley, Kasydi, Dalainey. Her great grandchildren Hollie,Axle, Saege, Nash and Leo will carry her spirit and stories.

Sharon's life was a beautiful tapestry of passions and pursuits. She loved traveling to warm sunny places Hawaii , Australia and BC was among her favourites. She had a gift for cooking and baking, her kitchen was always a place of comfort and joy, especially when surrounded by her family. Sharon owned a craft store for many years,where she taught ceramics and created stunning ornaments that became treasured keepsakes in her family’s homes.

She worked at the Grey Nuns hospital where her compassion and strength touched many lives. Outside of work, Sharon found joy in fast Cars, boating, camping at the lake, and spending time with animals especially her Dogs, birds, and fish. She adored wolves, horses,bears, Angels, music and Disney movies.

Sharon was known for her honesty and bold spirit. She spoke her mind with clarity and conviction, never afraid to share what she loved or what she didn’t.

Her presence was powerful. Her laughter contagious, and her love unwavering .

She shared a lifelong friendship with Linda Vince. Her close friend and godmother to her sons, whose family Brian Kelly and Kendra and Peggy became an extension of Sharon’s own.
Sharon was entrusted to trinity funeral home , where she was laid to rest and cremated, as per her wishes .

Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the warmth she gave, the strength she showed , and the beauty she brought into the world.
