Stephen Richard McCloskey (Steve)
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Steve McCloskey shares his peaceful passing on March 26, 2024.
Steve was the loving father of Tracy (Kevin), Patrick, Garry (Arleen), and Jim. He lives on in the hearts of his grandchildren: Pam McCloskey, Ryan (Robyn) McCloskey, Cassie (Ryan) McCloskey, Connor and Emilee McCloskey, and Kieran Becker. Steve's eyes sparkled in the company of his great-grandchildren: Arianna, Finnley, Piper, and Nora. He is also survived by his sister Eileen Sutcliffe, and sister-in-law Lil Pewarchuk.
His generous spirit made him an easy presence to be with an endearment that others responded to with loving devotion.
Steve was predeceased by his wife and best friend Anne in 2022. He is survived by his sister Eileen and sister-in-law Lil Pewarchuk.
Special thanks to all the Rosedale Supportive Living staff who cared for Steve and to the supportive Pulmonary team on 6E of the Robbins Pavilion, RAH.

Our deepest sympathy to Patrick and families. Frank and I have known Steve for many years, starting with Ushers at St John’s Over the years we met Steve and Ann and starting meeting up at A&W after Church. Later in years, it became a custom for Patrick and Steve to keep up these meetings. Steve always had a smile and loved life. We will miss his kindness, smile and gentle ways. God has another angel now.
