Steven Philip Brooks
On Tuesday November 5, 2019 Steven Brooks of Edmonton, AB passed away.
Steven was born in Calgary, attended school in Fort Saskatchewan and lived most of his adult life in Edmonton.
Steven is survived by his mother Lorraine; brothers: Ken, Darryl, Martin, Perry (Pam) and Colin (Patty) as well as nieces, nephews, and extended family.
He was predeceased by his father Mel in 2015.

I just stumbled across the news of Steven’s passing. I haven’t heard anything from Steven for a great many years….but knew him back in the 80s.
I recall picking him up along the highway on the way to Edmonton each morning for work. One morning, while waiting, he decided to toss rocks at a nearby sign to kill time I guess. One rock bounced and hit a passing car. The driver turned around and went back to where Steven was, and punched him in the eye. It was shut for a good couple of days.
We had a lot of laughs back then, sorry to learn he passed….my condolences to those he left behind.
