Timothy Conrad Donald Browatzke passed away February 19, 2024 at the age of 43.

Tim was lucky enough to find four families over the course of his life. The first happened when he was just a baby, when he was fostered and then adopted by the Browatzkes/Conrads. Right away, he also found a second family, with lifelong friends, the Drinkwaters. When he was nine, his mom Terri remarried to Jozef and brought Tim his third found family, the Klasens.

And then in 2010, Tim met his partner Dale, and found his fourth family, the Taylors. And those families were so lucky and blessed to have Tim as part of their lives.

Born in Edmonton November 19, 1980, “Timmy Toes” grew up in Fort Saskatchewan with his brother Rob and sister Ramie. As a kid, he really loved to draw, to build, to garden; he loved working with his hands. All kids love Christmas, but not like Tim did. It was his favorite time of the year because he loved being able to give something special to the people he loved.

Tim’s life changed again when he met Dale. Tim saw Dale at the bar and just walked over and asked to sit down. They became an official couple New Years Eve in 2011 and Dale’s family soon became Tim’s as well. Dale’s mom became Tim’s mom; Dale’s sisters, Carol, Kim, and Lisa became Tim’s sisters. And just like Tim’s other families, his new family got to enjoy the many kindnesses Tim showed.

Tim is survived by his partner Dale, and their fur babies London and Willow, as well as all those families who were lucky enough to love him.

He is predeceased by his beloved fur baby Dixie. Tim’s families would like to thank the medical staff at 3North at the Misericordia for treating their partner / son / brother with such respect and care.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be sent to: Second Chance Animal rescue society (SCARS)

  1. Rest in peace little brother

  2. My condolences to Tim’s family and friends and his sweet fur babies. I worked with Tim for 19 years and we had of fun together teasing each other like siblings. We especially enjoyed when he brought Willow to work when she was a puppy as we all fell in love with her and we got to see the joy she brought to Tim. I will really really miss him and I will never forget him.

  3. I will always have such beautiful memories of Grandma bringing you home from the hospital and all of us being so excited to have a baby to visit. I know the love you were shown as a baby has influenced me in my career as a nurse. I hope you have found peace in your journey now Timmy

  4. Dear Dale and all in Tim’s extended family,
Deepest sympathy from all of us: Michael, Rob, and Brent. We know the power of found family and our thoughts are with you.
Sending warm hugs from across the ocean:
    Kimm and family
