Walter Cabral

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Walter Cabral of Edmonton AB, and in later years, Chiang Rai, Thailand. Wally passed away at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, surrounded by family, on August 11, 2026, at the age of 72 years.

Walter is survived by his loving wife Kritsana, stepson Pathompong, two brothers and three sisters, John (Fatima), Claude (Maria), Maria (Luis), Fatima (Steve), Ezaura (Bob) and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother, Julieta, in 2006; his nephew, Curtis, in 2014; his father, Manuel, in 2015; his brother, Ed, in 2025; and by numerous relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for their care and compassion of Walter.

In keeping with Walter’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.

Family and friends are invited to the viewing and to pay last respects
