It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Bill Turner, who died June 2, 2025, at his home on Pigeon Lake, Alberta, at the age of 69.

Bill will be remembered by his loving wife of 42 years, Brenda; his son Steven (Amanda); grandchildren Heidi and Leon; brothers David (Debbie), Peter (Lady); and sister Jean (Don) Easton; sisters-in-law Cheryl Siwak, Elaine (Colin) Campbell, Chris Sollid and Tracy Sollid; brothers-in-law Vern (Brenda) Sollid, and Bob Sollid; numerous relatives, and friends.

Bill showed an early interest in vehicles, which turned into a 45 year career in the automotive industry. He had a zest for life that included a love of the outdoors, sports, warmer climates, and good times spent at the lake.

Known for his sense of humour and ready laugh, Bill was a loving husband, dad, “Papa” and friend who will be forever remembered and greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stollery Children’s Hospital.
