  9. I was Trevor’s Foreperson while he was working at LRT. One weekend we had a power outage for EPCOR to repair some high voltage components. There was zero electricity in the building. Nothing. So around lunchtime we all gathered in the lunchroom to eat our unheated, unrefrigerated lunches. I took a headcount. Where’s Trevor? I went looking for him in the body shop and as I approached the doors there was the unmistakable smell of Chunky Soup. I round the corner and there’s Trevor with a can gently mounted in a bench vice and the oxy-acetylene torch with a small blue flame slowly warming the outside as he’s gingerly stirring it. He looks up and gives me his famous grin and says, “I don’t like cold soup”.
I nodded in agreement and walked back to the lunchroom laughing to myself.
Rest easy Brother. It’s time for a break.
