
Ross Duncan Fraser
Dr. Ross Fraser, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son, and dear brother passed away April 13th, 2026 at the age of 46.
Born in Edmonton, Alberta, raised in St. Albert, he grew up surrounded by family and friends who helped shape the person he became.
He is survived by his loving wife Natasha and two daughters, Anna (8) and Zoe (6), who were the center of his world, his father, Calvin Fraser, and sister Meghan. He was predeceased by his mother Marie Fraser in 2019.
Ross was a globe trotter who developed a love of teaching as a way to see the world, before returning to teach in Edmonton. As a dedicated teacher who maintained and used a large professional library, he was happy to assist others whenever asked. He made a lasting impact on the lives of his students and his colleagues. He brought patience, kindness, and a genuine passion for learning into his classroom, inspiring and guiding those around him every day.
Outside of his work, he found great joy in travelling, hiking, camping and exploring mountain trails. He loved travelling, spending time in nature, and sharing those experiences with his family, sharing his curiosity and sense of adventure.
Ross will be remembered for his strength, and unwavering love for his family. His strong presence will continue to be felt.
