Marsha Johnston

Marsha Johnston passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at the Royal Alex Hospital.

She was surrounded by many friends, family and some of her caregivers.  Marsha was ill for a very long time and it all became too much to handle at the end especially since she was losing her eyesight which was very devastating to her.

Marsha was predeceased by her dad Allen in 1983, her mother Thelma in 2015 and her sister Gloria in 2019.

She is survived by her brother Tom, his wife Christine, their three boys and numerous great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister’s daughter, Sandy and her husband Bill. Marsha is also survived by many of her friends some of whom were with her when she passed she would like to thank her friends Pamela, Laurie, Laura, Selikke, Lisa, and many many others who are dear to her heart.

She would also like to thank those who came out for her celebration of life on July 4, it was a fabulous party. There’s not going to be any kind of funeral memorial or secondary celebration of life as per Marsha’s wishes.

Her ashes are going to be spread about in the Rocky Mountains that she loves so much and the urn placed in Canmore with her mother.
