  1. Sean I’m so sorry. How devastating for you and your family.
It’s been several years since I saw Dianne, but I clearly remember her laugh. It still makes me smile. Miss you both.

    • Thanks Mark, I just came across some photo’s from the food bank garden we worked at together by the Edmonton waste administration building in around 2009. Dianne enjoyed her time working out there with you and me.

  2. Yolanda and I are very sorry for your loss. We are sending hugs and love to all of you.

    • Thank-you Therese, Dianne and often discussed her meeting up with Millie once she left this world. She was looking forward to that reunion.

  3. Sean – I am so sorry to hear of Dianne’s passing. She was a wonderful person, and so totally committed to helping the needy. She responded well to the call of the Gospel. My Mass today will be offered for her. In sympathy, Bishop Bob Kasun

    • Thank-you Bishop Kasun you greatly helped Dianne and I on our spiritual journey together. She always had fond memories working with you at one of the local missions and as our Priest at St Clare’s She always talked about how supportive you were for the work of Society of St. Vincent de Paul which was so important to Dianne.

      God Bless you.

      Sean

        and us in your prayers.

  6. This was a moving tribute to a warm, giving person, that I had the privilege of knowing. The church that I attend set up a weekly prayer session for her, that we all took participated in, during the time of Diane’s” struggle. Hopefully, we were whispering in God’s ear a little reminder of just how special and loved Diane was. It is with great sadness and feeling of loss that we mourn her passing. My heart also goes out to my good friend Sean, who set an example of caring and love while dealing with strength, courage, and dignity, prior to her passing away. May God bless him and his family during this time of grieving.

    • Stu,

Your support, prayer and visit’s are appreciated while Dianne was at home and in hospice.

      Sean

  7. Sending sympathies and condolences to Sean and the whole family. I remember Dianne as being a excellent helper, especially to Grandma Norma, and having the best family dinners when I was young and the very best apple pie. She was always so good with the kids and animals, and I know she is dearly missed by so many. We haven’t been in touch recently, but please know your family was always in our prayers, and still is during this difficult time. I hope we can get together soon.

    • Thank-you for sharing your memories Fawn and keeping us in your prayers.

  8. Dear Sean, my deepest sympathy to you & your family. So many great memories of Dianne…such a kind & lovely lady. I will never forget her beautiful smile. May you & your family find comfort in the days ahead.
