Albertine Elizabeth Porter (née Boulanger)
1942 - 2025
With full hearts we announce the passing of Albertine Porter. Born in Lac-Mégantic, Québec, she moved to northern Alberta as a child and made a home in many parts of this beautiful province.
She devoted her life to caring for others. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Albertine was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Germaine, sister Elise, brother Jacques, husband Kenneth, and beautiful daughter Michelle.
She is survived by her brothers Claude, Michel, sisters Marie, Therese, sons John (Ambere), David, Jim (Faith Mansfield), and grandchildren Julia, Ross, and Fiona, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Albertine faithfully attended St. Vital Parish Beaumont, was a member of the Catholic Women’s League, and was instrumental in starting and supporting pastoral care at the Parish. She was renowned for her baking, and her smile showed so much delight in stories that were shared.
Albertine is loved and will be deeply missed. The Porter family is comforted that Albertine is now at peace in the arms of the angels.
