Bernie Cox

December 2, 1957 – July 8, 2025

It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Bernie Cox, who departed this life on July 8, 2025, at the age of 67.

Born on December 2, 1957, Bernie was a man of integrity, compassion, and quiet strength. Throughout his life, he touched the hearts of many with his generosity, wisdom, and unwavering kindness. Whether through his work, friendships, or time spent with family, Bernie left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

He will be fondly remembered for his love of cooking, cars, fishing, and his lifelong dream of owning a yacht one day.

Bernie is survived by his two children, Matthew and Dawn; his grandchildren; his brothers Dale, Johnny, and Daniel; and his sisters Audrey, Rhoda, and Sophie. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, all of whom will carry his memory in their hearts forever.

As per his wishes, Bernie will be cremated, and no formal funeral service will be held. His ashes will be spread in the ocean, a place he loved and cherished.

The family kindly requests that donations be made in Bernie’s honor to the Alzheimer Society or the Lung Association.

A heartfelt thank you to all his caregivers, doctors, and nurses for their dedicated care and support.

Bernie will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
