CASSANDRA DIANE STEVENS
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts, that the family of Cassandra announce her passing on May 6, 2025, at the age of 41 years old. She passed away peacefully after a long, hard fought battle with cancer. All through her journey she displayed amazing strength, grace and dignity.
She is survived by her parents Della and Neil, brother Kristian and sister in law Celina, Grandmother Carol (Prazak), Uncle Rod (Prazak), Auntie Sue, cousins Tyler, Rachel, Matthew and Hayley, Uncle Glen (Stevens) and her cousin David (Sheppard).
The family would like to thank all the staff at the Cross Cancer Institute.
Special thanks to the amazing staff of the Grey Nuns Tertiary Palliative Care Unit #43,
for their extraordinary care and kindness towards Cassandra as well as her family.
A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.

I haven’t known Sandy long only a mere 5 years and we got to spend sometime together at conventions and campouts, I have some great pictures fishing with her and under the Beaver in Beaverlodge , so many laughs and tears we shared. She is a great loss to her friends to you her family She will be missed my many and my heart hurts.. Im sorry this has happened and it doesn’t seem fair, she was such a fighter, I sometimes ponder the why of life.. I have no answer. Know that I hope you find some comfort in her loving kindness she showed to many… including me.. sending a big warm hug virtually, as you grieve this hard loss <3
