Dalton Secord
In Loving Memory of Dalton McFadden Secord, we are saddened to announce his passing on July 24th, 2023, at the age of 29.
Dalton will be sadly missed by his father, Donald (Sonia) Secord, his mother, Shawn Koeckeritz, his brother, Decker, his son, Cade Secord Armstrong. He will be remembered by Aunt Karen Secord and family: Nick, Jeff and Abra; Uncle Kevin (Kim) Secord and family: Scott and Pam; Aunt Kathy (Zed) Secord and family: Alex and Andrea, Aunt Carol Secord and family: Neve Quinn and Andrew; Aunt Bev Koeckeritz (Tom Lavierre) and Aunt Pam Morgan and family: Robert and Jillian and many friends.
Dalton was predeceased by his grandparents Morris and Mary Koeckeritz and Don and Marilyn Secord. He had a very special connection with Grandma Mary, who he loved dearly.
Dalton grew up in Saskatoon. He attended Hugh Cairns and graduated Walter Murray High School. Dalton enjoyed sports and loved to play hockey. He was a natural at golf and spent many summers at Emma Lake learning to fish, waterskiing and dirt biking and quadding. He had the brightest smile, infectious laugh and those he knew and loved knew he had the biggest heart- it didn’t matter who you were.
Rest in Peace Dalton. We love you.

Although it was only recently last 6 month I was introduced to Dalton he’s passing cuts deeply and the void that’s left is substantial.

Dalton held such a big place in our hearts. He definitely made his mark in this life time that was taken to soon. You could tell it was Dalton by the sound of his laughter that would fill the room. He would give the shirt off his back in a heart beat and always had open arms. His memory will live on with so many. Please accept our condolences from Bailee, Ty and Nancy. Please accept our sincere condolences. I remember Dalton as a little guy playing hockey and ball with my nephew, and then as a teenager at motorcycle shows each spring.
Such a tragic loss.
