David (Dave) Michael Lake

It is with great sadness that the family of David Lake announces his passing on July 05, 2026.

Dave will be lovingly remembered by his children Fraser (Morgan), Daniel, Joshua, and Camilla (Keaton); his brother Gordon (Shelly Lake); his sister Brenda Needham; his many nephews and nieces, great-nephews and great niece, family, friends, and Judylynn.

Dave was predeceased by his parents, Fraser and Sharon; as well as his in-laws, Vicky and Michael, and numerous aunts and uncles who are dearly loved and greatly missed.

Born in Red Deer, Dave spent most of his life in Edmonton.  He had a passion for long-haul truck driving and treasured the memories he made participating in sleigh rides. Dave had loved his kids with all his heart and there was not any thing he wouldn’t do for them. He also had a special love for his pets, who brought him great companionship over the years.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Miller Crossing for the compassionate care Dave received.

In keeping with his wishes, Dave’s ashes will be spread along side those of his mother and father in the near future.
