He was predeceased by his parents; Michalis and Eleni and his younger brother; Stefanos.

Born in Vasileoniko, Chios, Greece and immigrating to Canada in 1973. A devoted husband, father, entrepreneur, brother, and friend to many. He became a pillar in his community through his business Omonia Foods Import. The simplest pleasures of life brought great joy to Dimitri. He loved tending to his beautiful gardens and appreciating nature. His love for animals was evident but most of all he loved birds.
