Don Marshall Keller
Donald Marshall Keller passed away peacefully in Edmonton Alberta on July 8, 2025. Predeceased by his loving wife Helen as well as his brother Garry and sister Jeanette. He is survived by his sister-in-law Mary and nieces and nephew Janice, Bill, Arlene and Carmen.
Don was born and raised in Edmonton. He worked as an orderly at the University of Alberta Hospital, and finished his career as a security guard for Garda.
Don had many hobbies. He was a movie buff, loved playing cards and reading books, and in his later years, he spent many weekends doing just that. He was also an avid sports fan. He and Helen were season ticket holders for the Edmonton Elks and attended football games at Commonwealth Stadium for many years. He also enjoyed music, attending many concerts and built a large collection of albums. Don and Helen both cared deeply about family and never hesitated to open their home for family gatherings. His keen sense of humour and easy going attitude carried him through life's challenges, and he retained this optimism up until his last days.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Hardisty Care Centre for their compassionate care during the last few weeks of Don's life.
A private family gathering will be held to celebrate his life.
