Eduarda DeSousa
Surrounded by her loving family, Eduarda DeSousa of Edmonton passed away peacefully on January 18, 2024 at the age of 89 years.
She is survived by her loving children: Jose Manuel (Assunta) DeSousa, Leonor Rites, John DeSousa, Natalia (Paul) Janes, Jaime DeSousa, Jeff (Chantel) DeSousa and Valdmar DeSousa; fourteen grandchildren: Robert, Nelson, Gabriel (Michelle), Melissa, Amanda, Ashley (Kyle), Virginia, Sean, Diana, Caterina, Monique, Cassie, Sarah and Nicholas; twenty-five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; her brother Walter (Lucy) Grilo as well as many other relatives and dear friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Jose Barbosa, in 1993; her parents, Jose and Ursula; six brothers and one sister.
The Family extends a sincere thank you to the staff of Venta Care Center for their kindness and compassionate care.

What amazing strong woman she was, that her family meant the whole world to her. everytime I seen her she always had a big smile on her face and was the most friendly person I have ever met. Her grandkids were her life! She is my nieces grandmother Catherine Sousa . And what amazing grandmother she was to her🥰 thank you so much for amazing grandmother you were and the memories you gave her.
