Evan Walter Craig
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Evan W. Craig, at the age of 41, surrounded by family at the University of Alberta hospital.
Evan will be sadly missed and forever remembered and loved by family and friends. His life started in Kentville, N.S. and over the years he moved back and forth from N.S. to Edmonton, AB. His love for music helped him through both good and bad times. He cherished time with family and friends and over the past two years, his adoration for his puppy, Winnie, brought him nothing but joy.
He leaves behind many family members in Nova Scotia, Alberta, and Prince Edward Island. Mum, Connie Somers and stepdad, Wayne Somers (PEI). Dad, Christopher Craig and stepmum, Patricia (AB). Sister, Angela Craig, nieces, Elizabeth & Emily (AB). Half brothers, Christoper Jr Craig(Erin), nephews Ethan & Connor, neice Kyla (AB); Stephen Craig, nephews Brodie & Marshall (AB). Half sister, Kelly, nephews Dawson & Grayson, neice Ruby. (AB). Uncles, Gordie Craig (Lisa), Micheal Craig (Linda), Darrin Schofield (NS). Aunts, Cindy Craig and Lena Schofield (NS). Loving grandmother, Marion Craig (NS).
Cremation took place in Alberta with services to be confirmed for the Spring/Summer of 2024 in Nova Scotia.
The family requests donations to a charity of your choice in leiu of flowers.
My nephew was a true warrior —- from his first to last breath. I don’t think he ever knew that I would think of him anytime I had a medical issue to handle. I would say to myself “Suck it up, Evan has gone through worse”
Evan has left a void that cannot be filled.
