It is with great sadness that the family of Fernando Borges of Darwell, AB announce his tragic passing on February 22, 2013 at the age of 61 years.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 20 years, Joanne; his son Michael; step-daughter Laure, step-son Kurt; his sister Dora (Isidro), brother John (Diane) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his parents Fernando and Agostinha.

  2. My thoughts and paryer are with you and your family. My cousin Fernando was a wonderful person I love him so much. He was always a happy person and he loved to joke around. He will always be in my heart and never forgotten. He is now with his mother and his two other anuts and uncle and they are watching over us. Just keep the good memories and the good time in your heart and he will be with you for ever.

    So sorry for the loss and once again my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

  4. Always a joke, or a story to tell, I haden’t known fernando for very long, about 6 years, but from what I could tell he’s a good man. He provided a safe environment for his employees to work, and took care of everyone that he could. Forever missed by all the welders at cn!!!!!!!!!!
