Francesco (Frank) Spatafora

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Francesco (Frank) Spatafora on April 30, 2026, at the age of 94.

Frank is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife Maria of 65 years and his loving children, Rosa (Peter) Rotundo, Joe (Bea) and Dominic. He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren, Jenna (Corey) Hughes, Thomas (Gillian), Daniel (Ashley), Alex and great-grandchild Noah. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law Anna Spatafora and Caterina Spatafora in Itay and numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives in Italy, US and Canada.

Frank was predeceased by his parents, Giuseppe and Maria; his siblings, Domenico, Giuseppe (Maria Giuseppe), Filippo, Giovanni (Pina) and Benito, Gioconda (Ralph), Caterina (Tommaso), and Maria Giuseppe (Ralph).

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Wiznura for going above and beyond in his care, always treating Frank with the utmost respect and compassion. Sincere thanks are also given to Larissa, Joyce, Sarah, the Palliative Care Team, and the nurses of Unit 5 East and West at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for their kindness and dedicated care. Your support meant so much to our family during this time.
