George James Webster

George James Webster passed away peacefully in Edmonton, Alberta, on December 7, 2025, at the age of 66.

George was a man of diverse talents and a dedicated professional. In his early years, he worked as a skilled welder, a trade that reflected his strong work ethic. He later transitioned into a career in technology, where he specialised in contract work and shared his expertise by teaching database applications at the University of Alberta.

He was predeceased by his parents, George and Françoise Webster. George’s memory will be cherished by his children, Simone and Spencer, and their mother, Monica. He also leaves behind his six siblings: brothers Robert, Daniel, William, and Andrew, and sisters Linda and Shirley, along with many extended family members and friends.

The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the physicians and caregivers who provided George with such compassionate care and support during his later years.
