Jarvis never hesitated to embrace new opportunities and approached everything with honesty and integrity. His strong values, especially regarding family and friends, earned him the respect and affection of everyone he met. He took a heartfelt interest in the lives of those who cared for him.
Family gatherings—whether for holidays or any occasion—brought him immense joy, especially when they included the beach, good food, '80s music, and a bottle of ketchup. Jarvis was devoted to his faith and the church, drawing strength from his beliefs, which never wavered during his years of illness.
Jarvis’s life motto was: Remember the past with gratitude, live the present with enthusiasm, and look forward to the future with confidence.
To honour Jarvis’s life, a celebration will take place in Heatherton, NL, in the coming weeks, as family travel is coordinated. Notification will follow once arrangements are finalized.
