Gordon “Gord” Guenette
August 18, 1945 - January 20, 2024
It is with saddened hearts the family of Gordon “Gord” Guenette announce his passing on January 20, 2024 at the age of 78 years.
Gord grew up on a farm in Smith, AB. He met his wife Janet in Smith and married in 1967. He retired in 2000, having worked with Safeway since 1968. 6 months after retirement, he decided retirement wasn’t for him and he became a shuttle driver for Sherwood Park GMC, where he worked up until his passing.
Gord is lovingly remembered by his wife, Janet; daughter-in-law, Liza and grandson, Grayson.
He was predeceased by his sons, Richard and Ryan (Liza).

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Aunty Janet. Uncle Gordon was a wonderful person and I can still hear his infectious laugh. I have great memories of spending time together and playing 31 and I will hold them close to my heart. Love Brenda ❤️❤️
