Harvey, my beloved husband has gone to be with the Lord peacefully on January 21, 2023 in St. Joseph Auxillary Hospital after a long battle with his failing health.

His silly jokes, off key singing, smiling and pouty faces are forever in my heart.

He predeceased by his parents, Wayne and Stella Clark, and his favourite puppies, Kobe, Elsa and Athena.

To celebrate Harvey’s life, a funeral mass will be held on February 7th, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. Theresa Catholic Church (7508 29 Avenue NW Edmonton Alberta).

The family requests a donation to the St. Joseph Auxillary Hospital under the Covenant Foundation in honour of Harvey instead of flowers.

  9. Dear Theresa,

Words can never express about your loss of a wonderful husband, Harvey! It is true that Harvey liked to sing but always out of tune. He was full of compassion for others and animals but never complaint even going through bad times. He loved silly jokes and sometimes they sounded so real. He thought that you are a blessing to him. He said that he had never been to Catholic Mass, and you were the one who brought him to be Christ-like. He talked so much about your love and care for him, especially during hard times. He said that he loved to eat and that you are his personal cook! Harvey is a very kind and loving person, and we miss him dearly. May he rest in peace!

  12. Dear Theresa,

No words can be expressed our sorrow for the loss of your beloved husband, Harvey. He talked about you with joy and gratitude a lot whenever we talked on the phone. He appreciated how much you care about me and what a wonderful cook you are. He also told us that you had helped me to know God better and had encouraged him to trust him and to develop a closer relationship with God. Harvey proudly told us that you had found him a sister, Florence. Harvey is a blessing to anyone who knows him and vice versa. Harvey is full of compassion for others and had neglected self-compassion for himself. We had never heard him complaint during difficult times. He would put others ahead and reached out to be a good listener as well as a genuine support. He loved to make silly jokes, which could have sounded so real. He admitted that he sounded like a frog when he sang, but he still enjoyed his own singing. Harvey is full of integrity, sincerity, consideration, wisdom, kindness, and love. John and I really miss Harvey. Harvey loves you with eternity; he will always love you and is watching over you. Harvey and you and Florence are very dear to us. We are always here for you!

    Love,
    John and Josephine

  13. Dearest Kai Mah, Uncle Harvey will be so greatly missed. I will forever be grateful for not just his resilience, silly jokes and wise words, but for reconnecting us to each other. Sending you lots of love during these difficult times. Love you so much.
