Helen Schur
Her name was HELEN SCHUR but we called her Mom, Grandma, and Great Grandma. She laughed with us, cried with us, listened to us, teased us, loved us unconditionally, admonished us, prayed for us and always encouraged us to be the very best we could be. Using her strength and determination she redefined her life after losing Dad (Carl Schur), husband and the love of her life for 60 years. Unfortunately, strength and determination were not enough to overcome her short battle with ALS and she passed away on December 30, 2020 at age 91. Our hearts are heavy and our eyes are teary but we are feeling truly blessed to have shared her life and are at peace knowing she is reunited with Dad where she longed to be. We love you Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma – you will forever be in our hearts.

Our beautiful Aunt Helen: we are so saddened for your passing. You were a loved and favoured lady . We cried when Uncle Carl left and we now cry for you.
