Joan Deverill (nee Moman)
Joan Deverill (nee Moman) passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the age of 83. She is survived by her children, Les (Kelly), Dave (Brenda), Theresa (Gary), Sharon, Kim (Gary), her cherished grandchildren Cassie, Nick, Kyle, Shea-lyn, Troy, Jorge, great grandchildren Blake, Sierra, Kalista, and many loving relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband George, parents Margaret and Henry and brother Albert.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to both the McQueen Lodge and the Misericordia Hospital (8E) staff for their professionalism and kindness during her stay.
At Joan’s request, no formal service will be held. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held in the summer following interment with her beloved George at Holy Cross Cemetary.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Edmonton Humane Society.
I’m so sorry for your loss.
I will always remember Joan’s amazing smile, her sense of humor, and gentle spirit.

I will always remeber Joan’s smile,her sense of humour and her talent for painting. I always loved our get togethers for coffee.
I will always treasure the paintings she did for me of my Labradors. She was one in a mllion.
