Kevin Michael Hameluck

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kevin Michael Hameluck, age 56, on October 24th, 2025, in Edmonton, Alberta.

Kevin was born on August 19th, 1969, in Ottawa, Ontario, to Denise and Michael Hameluck. After proudly serving in the Canadian Army for six years, Kevin continued his dedication and hard work as Service Manager at R & D Trailer Rentals, where he was respected for his skill, honesty, and sense of humor.

Kevin was a man of many passions. He loved playing guitar, listening to rock music, and going on adventures. He found peace in gardening, bird watching, and especially in the company of his beloved cats, who were a constant source of joy and companionship.

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Melinda Hameluck, his cherished daughters Shalisa Pietersma (Taylor) and Makayla Janik (Maciej), his brother Brent Hameluck, and many other family members and friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.

As per Kevin’s wishes, there will be no formal service. Those who knew and loved him are encouraged to honor his memory in their own way—perhaps by spending time outdoors, listening to good music, or giving extra love to their pets.
