Malcolm "Buddy" Stapleton
On November 13, 2017 Malcolm “Buddy” Stapleton passed away at the age of 81 in Devon, AB.
Malcolm was born on January 15, 1936 in New Waterford, Nova Scotia to parents Thomas and Margaret Stapleton. Malcolm was a Sergeant in the Military and worked as an airframe technician. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and being with family.
Predeceased by his son Stephen Charles Stapleton, Malcolm is survived by his loving wife Shirley, who he married on April 17, 1958, son Malcolm (Vicki), daughter-in-law Colleen, granddaughters Amanda (Dave), Ami (Shawn), Alicia (Dan) and Allie (Jeremy), and great grandchildren Kaleb, Kaylee, Christopher, Emma and Brynlee.
At Malcolm’s request, cremation has taken place and a private family celebration has been held.

Went to Fern lake yesterday and seen Shakey’s memorial plaque. Very nice. Sorry to see him gone but will remember both him and Steve every time I see that plaque.
