February 12, 1928 - January 25, 2024
It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our Dad, Charles, on January 25 at the age of 95. He was predeceased by his wife, Willa, in 1992. He leaves to mourn his two daughters, Diane (Geoff) Stickle and Cheryl (Paul) Sampson, as well as five grandchildren, Gavin Stickle, Molly (John) Gagnon, Megan Sampson (Jared), Noelle Sampson (Cam) and Braden Sampson.
There will be no funeral as per Dad’s wishes. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Good Samaritan Wedman House, 10525-19 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB T6J 6X9.
Charles’ family would like to thank the manager (Chrystal) and ALL of the staff of Wedman House for their excellent care and compassion during his residence there.
Please accept our most heartfelt condolences, on the loss of your beloved Dad and Grandpa. Mr. Charles lived nextdoor to my Dad at Wedman House, and they sat together in the dining room for their meals.
Dad, my husband, and I, had the pleasure of having a lovely turkey dinner with Mr. Charles on December 08th, at Wedman House. He made us smile too, when he wasn’t able to finish all of his supper, but he ate every last bit of his dessert!! Just like my Dad!! 😊😊
