Nelly Dunn

Nelly Dunn, 66 of Edmonton, Alberta passed away on August 27th after a courageous battle with cancer.

Nelly was born on February 19,1957 to Piet and Henny in Heerlen, Netherlands at their home. They moved to Canada when Nelly was just 5 months old. Nelly lived in Ontario and British Columbia as a kid and continued to live in B.C into her adulthood where she met Greg at a marina in Sidney. Nelly and Greg got married on May 21st 1981 in Sidney. They moved to Alberta in 1981 where they started a family, having 2 children, Christie and Ryan. Nelly went on to have a long career at the Bank of Montreal, where she retired from in March 2018. Nelly enjoyed going camping and being with her grandchildren.

Survived by her daughter Christie, son Ryan, brothers Jan and Peter, niece Melissa and 4 grandchildren Kayvan, Taylor, Makenna and Vanora. Predeceased by her parents Piet and Henny, and her husband Greg. We will miss you mom and find comfort that you are now with Greg and other family again.
