Raymond Johannes Hansen
Raymond Johannes Hansen of Beaver County, passed away in the early morning hours of March 23, 2024 at the Tofield Health Centre.
Ray was born in Edmonton, Alberta in 1943 to parents Lars and Serena Hansen.
Predeceased by his parents, brother Ed and sister Chris, Ray is survived by Gail, his wife of 57 years, children Kelly and Dale, whom he loved very much, grandchildren Amanda, Ashley and Kayla, whom he treasured, nine great-grandchildren, sisters Millie, Dortheau, Cathy and Bev as well as numerous nephews, nieces and close friends.
Ray worked as a Heavy-Duty Technician at one company for over 40 years and made many life-long friends along the way. Ray raced standard bred horses for many years before moving to a small farm in Beaver County. How he loved his cows.
Ray was a kind and gentle natured man and will be missed by all who knew him.
A heartfelt thank s to Dr. Abuzehar and the nursing staff at the Tofield Health Centre for their outstanding and compassionate care.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice in Ray's name.

Dear Gail, It was a sad day when Irene told me about Ray. There are no words.
You are left with many great memories. Be safe my dear friend and cousin. As always, you will take what life throws at you and carry on. You are not alone.
