On March 21, 2019, Robert “Bob” Inkpen, age 70, passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at the Cross Cancer Institute.

Bob will be forever remembered by his wife, Brenda; his children, Jennifer and Jason; his siblings, Josie, Marie, Nelson, Judy and Peggy; his four-legged friend, Jack; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

In honour of Bob's wishes, cremation has taken place and his family will celebrate his life privately.

Thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Cross Cancer Institute, in particular, Dr. David Candler and Dr. Safana Makhdoom, and a very special thank you to Dr. Joanne Hewitt for her care and compassion over the past four years.

Donations may be made in Bob's memory to the Myeloma Alberta Support

Brenda,Jennifer and jason we are so sorry for the loss of your husband,father and my brother Bob.I myself could understand what you were going through for the past 4 years with bobs illness having loss my wife Mildred almost 4 years ago.I and remaining siblings appreciate your reasons for privacy but just to let you know that while we did not try to contact you very often we were obtaining update from whomever was recently talking to Bob.I will certainly miss my younger brother and when we were growing up we did a lot of things together more so than with our older siblings.We are comforted by the fact that he has already been greeted by his deceased parents and two oldest brothers.RIP my dearly missed brother.
