Roger Warburton Ashworth

Roger Warburton Ashworth was born in Grappenhall, near Manchester, England on 24th April 1936.
He passed away peacefully at Sturgeon Community Hospital in St. Albert on 14th November 2023 aged 87 years.
He immigrated to Canada and after a number of jobs settled with Syncrude Canada in the Research Department in Edmonton.
Roger started initially in the laboratory before becoming the Syncrude liaison person for corporate patenting activities.
Roger opted for early retirement in 1991 aged 55 years enjoying his cottage at Lake Wabamun, visiting libraries and spending the winter months in warmer foreign places.
