Ruby Alice Lenders
It is with sad and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother Ruby Lenders on March 19th, 2023 at the age of 87.
Ruby leaves behind her loving husband Andrew, daughter Darlene (Daryl) Nosko and their children Travis (Sarah) Nosko and Afton (Jordan) Goldsmith, son Dwayne (Tania) Lenders and their children London (Samantha) Lenders, Damon Lenders and Sonja Lenders and daughter-in-law Cynthia Lenders and her son Anthony Lenders. Ruby was also great grandma to Payton Goldsmith, Ava Nosko, Taylor Goldsmith and Wyatt Nosko. Ruby was predeceased by their son Dale on February 21st of this year also.
During their 66 years of marriage Ruby and Andrew travelled Canada, United States and Europe extensively. Ruby was an avid gardener of both vegetables and flowers. She spent countless hours picking, cooking, canning and pickling everything she could grow in her garden. Nothing made her happier than to have a pantry full of canned fruits and vegetables, a freezer full of baked goods and endless company to enjoy them. Her cinnamon buns, bread and cookies will be greatly missed by all.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff of Unit 52 and 5 East at the Royal Alexander Hospital for their kindness and compassion.
