Tamara Dawn Akers

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Tammy on April 16, 2026.
Tammy was born in Drayton Valley, AB, lived in Wildwood for a few years then moved to Edmonton with her Mom and sisters.
Tammy worked hard and always lived life to the fullest. She loved to travel and had a deep affection for her cat “Daisy”.
She was predeceased by her parents Leonard and Joyce as well as her sister Barb.
Tammy leaves behind her sisters Betty and Tracey, 4 nieces, 1 nephew along with extended family and friends. Her presence will be greatly missed.
No service will be held at this time.
I knew Tammy back when l worked at ATB. She was doing so well in her career and she would meet up with some of us gals for dinner after work on Fridays. We always had fun. She attended Alpha at my church too, So this news breaks my heart. I want the family to know that l am so sorry to hear this news and that I’ll be keeping them in my prayers. Tammy A will always have a special place in my heart.
