In Loving Memory of
Taylor David Alexander Calahaisen
October 19, 2016 – July 23, 2026

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the sudden and devastating passing of our beloved son, Taylor David Alexander Calahaisen, on July 23, 2026, at the age of 9.

Taylor was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew him. His smile could light up a room, his laughter was contagious, and his kind heart touched so many people. He had a gentle soul, a curious mind, and a love for life that made every moment with him a gift. Though his time with us was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he created will remain with us forever.

Taylor was predeceased by his grandfathers, Robert Lopatynski and David Calahaisen; his uncle, Tyler Baker; and his great-grandfathers, Roman Lopatynski and Wolfgang Jung.

He leaves behind his heartbroken parents, Coleen and Talon Calahaisen; his loving siblings, Carleya, Saria, Haven, and Bowen; and his faithful cat, Kiki, who was never far from his side. He is also survived by many grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, friends, classmates, and all whose lives were made brighter by knowing him.

There are no words that can truly express the depth of this loss. Taylor was deeply loved beyond measure and will be missed every single day. While our hearts are shattered, we find comfort in knowing that love never ends. His spirit will live on in the stories we tell, the laughter we remember, and the endless love we carry for him.

Although our time together was cut tragically short, Taylor’s impact on this world will never be forgotten. He will forever remain our beautiful boy, our greatest joy, and a treasured part of our family. We will miss his hugs, his voice, his laughter, and all the little moments that made him uniquely Taylor.

Our lives have been changed forever by his passing, but so too have they been forever blessed by the privilege of loving him. Until we meet again, you will always be in our hearts, forever loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.
